Facilitating Copyright Infringement.
People put random shit on the web. Fact. Hell, I do it. I don't do it where Google can index it, though. That's the problem. No linky no findy. Fortunately other people aren't so careful, and as a result, some crafty googling can unearth some good stuff.

The Google Cheat Sheet has some advanced operators on it for refining your searches, but my main tactic is liberal use of the "intitle:" operator which isn't even on there for some reason. Bizarre. Regardless. Basically all "intitle:" does is it restricts search results to pages that have your search parameters in the title of the page. Sneaky, I know. So usually the searches go something like "intitle:index.of thingthatyouarelookingfor." Pretty self-explanitory.
Sometimes you can just type in exactly what you're looking for and you'll hit jackpot. Other times you have to be a little more crafty with your phrasing. If you're looking for a soundtrack it can help to tack on a little "OST" for "original soundtrack," or a little "VA" for "various artists." Sometimes it helps to think in another language, if you're downloading something from Japan, you should ask for it in Japanese.
Now just because you're leeching off someone else, doesn't mean you can't be picky. I mean, usually you don't have a choice of formats, but other times you can get lucky and have a choice of MP3s or AACs. Or hey, if you're lazy and don't feel like downloading each song separately, you might just be able to find an archive and grab everything at once.
This concludes our broadcast day. Oh, and Google, if you're reading this, I don't know where John Connor is. Please stop asking.
(Note: The searches contained within this post pointed to usable content at the time of posting... the web is a crazy place, I make no guarantees how long they'll continue working.)
