Simple folk of Leonardo, I have returned!
Every so often a guy's gotta take a little break. Gotta live off the grid. Gotta go dark. But it's tough to stay out of play too long. It's the thrill of the hunt. It beckons. Haunting you in your dreams. It keeps calling you. ... You keep calling me.
Sorry, I just got done watching 24. I thought I was Jack Bauer. I blame Jack Bauer. I can't play by your rules, man.
Anyway, like Jack, I'm back. After the longest break since the great cross country road trip of this summer. Despite my silence though, Bear has still been driving. The comments have continued coming. Well, really just on this one post. Apparently I am the patron saint of iPod Firmware Updates. Hey, everyone's gotta have a schtick. Still, it's better than p0ker and viagglra comment spam. Which, incidentally, there's been a lot less of lately, since I actually got fed up and installed a spam filter on MovableType a couple weeks ago. What has the world come to? Fuck the terrorists, we're letting the spammers win.
Anywho, if nothing else, the past month and change has given plenty of potential fodder for these pages. I've seen tons of movies, picked up a few new games, and yes, even read a book or two. I also bought CDs for the first time in forever. What can I say. I'm a changed man. Anyway, I've got about a week worth of posts rattling around in the ol' noggin.
It's a non-stop season, bitches. Well, at least for a few days.
